I eliminated the SP3 update from the list of possiable causes. We installed SP 3 on our production server and I can still connect to it with windows authentication just fine. Ill let you know if I figure it out.

>If you figure it out, let me know. I get this error all the time when we try to connect to a machine with the DSN set to SQL Login... it still seems to want to try authentication.
