Well, in my current position, I'm working mostly in pure vanilla VFP and also doing stuff using Delphi 6 and C# .NET In the past, I used a commercial framework (VFE) for a few years and development was SO MUCH faster that I've been sold on it ever since. If it wasn't for the fact that my current employer doesn't want to reinvent the wheel with the existing apps, we would be using a framework also for VFP. I'm eagerly awaiting his framework for .net so hopefully our future .net projects will be developed using a framework. It is the only one I know of by an experienced framework developer - actually it is the only one I know of for .net period!

>I've not done much with using commercial frameworks. I prefer to "roll my own". The only time I had any exposure to commercial frameworks was when I was independent and several of my clients had apps that used frameworks. Although, from what I hear, a *lot* of people are eagerly awaiting Kevin's new framework.
