Keep in mind that MS has only shown a small part of VFP8 at this time. Since the beta will be distributed next month at DevCon, all will be revealed then. I'm anxiously waiting to see what other goodies will be included in VFP8.

>From the keynote speech it sounded as if the only addition was modifiable sql. That made it seem like the view designer wouldn't really be fixed (we all know the problems) but the modifiable sql would give a work-around to coding the whole view by hand. (or using a third party tool)
