I have a VFP7 exe file that will run in a directory that contains a Fox 2.6 app. The directory contains a foxuser.dbf file in 2.6 format which needs to remain in 2.6 format.

In the VFP7 exe file I have included a differently named resource file and I want *it* to be used instead of foxuser.dbf, so that the user does not get a message "do you wish to convert 3.0 resource file to 6.0 format". Trying to acomplish that I have also included a config.fpw file right in the exe that contains the line RESOURCE xxUser (I have also tried RESOURCE .\xxUser), but when the app comes up the reource file is foxuser.

Any ideas? TIA, Alex
