I have used Remote Views against Oracle Database and never had any issues.

I would try following two things..

1. Use SPT (SQL-Pass Throughs) and try to Update/Insert data using straight SQL commands. If you get success, it will prove that there is no communication issues with Oracle and VFP.

2. I am not sure this is possible with Oracle Client tools but if you have any tool that intercepts incoming traffic but if you can, you can see if the requested UPDATE is coming through the pipe or not. FYI, MS SQL Server has SQL Profiler that does the same.

>Hi, i have problems with an Oracle ODBC im Trying to use Oracle 8i with Remote Views on VFP7, the thing is i got to see the data on the Oracle Table, the Remote View has the "Send SQL Updates" it has the Update Fields and everithing seems Rigth i think that the ODBC that i'm using does not have the Commit when i send the =tableupdate() or something.. i tried usin both the Microsoft ODBC for Oracle Driver, and the ODBC Driver that comes with oracle 8i Distribution..
