I have a small project I have used to get the hang of things before I try to migrate the whole web site to asp.net. It is running well on my local web server, but now I want to see the whole process.
What is the preferred setup of VStudio.net for a multi-developer environment? We would all have VStudio.net and VSourceSafe(VSS). In asp, we use VSS to get a local copy of our web site, check out pages and deploy them from VSS when they are working. It does not seem to me like this works in asp.net (with pages using code-behind in c#)
I tried using the project properties of my asp.net project to point it to another server, but the properties seem to be read-only after the project is created. Does this mean that any time you change the web server you have to create a new project from scratch, and how would you implement a server farm with VStudio.net projects?
