>Hi,

>I currently have an application that uses a series of tables all involved in relationships with each other, my problem is that I need all the keys to remain in English and also other things like prices etc. But I need all the descriptions to be translated into Greek letters using the greek alphabet. I have translated the text from English to Greek, but I need the greek symbols to be held in the table alongside the english text, not a literal translation.

>HELP !!! I tried importing the descriptions into a table from an excel spreadsheet both XL5 and XL8 and using the AS 1253 clause but this produces an internal consistency error in Fox.

If you wish we can do this part of your application. It will use unicode for storing the data in the tables, and standard ActiveX controls (that ship with every Windows 98/NT4/2000/ME/XP machine)
Contact me or my boss (Venelina Jordanova venelina@mnet.bg) by email for more info.

Kind Regards
