My colleague has a Validate application. This application has Resolve form with two grids. The grid in the top shows Error number, number of bad records in the file and MustFix or Warning depending on severity.

The grid bellow shows the actual records (some fields, which are defined as show fields for this particular error). We have lots of coded fields in the table. It would be convenient to somehow see the description of them as well.

I discussed this idea with my colleague and she proposed to use RightClick on the cell to show description. I'm not sure I like this idea from user's point of view. I think, it would be good to see descriptions as ToolTipText for each cell (form would have a checkbox allowing to Turn Tooltips on/off). However,
1) I'm not sure how to achieve this functionality
2) Not sure, if my idea is better than hers.

What do you think and what would be your ideas?
