>OK, the reason i'm not usring the View Designer is that same reaseon, somehow the view that the Designer creates doesnot work, so i create it manually, in the i specify the table with the dababase as follows "DATABASE"."table" i do it like this cause that's the way i have to make the query in Oracle too, i don't know why.. (i'm a novice with Oracle) but the view seems to work fine extracting the data, cause i can see the data that Oracle has, but i can't Edit nor Append to the Existing data... cause i do not have a way to update :(

It is very hard to predict what you are doing wrong programatically. I would still suggest that you create the view in designer and reverse engineer using Gendbc.prg to get the code. Compare that code with yours..
