Hi Ashley,
>I was hinting to John that the community would love to see his FRX2WORD extend to encompass Excel. It could then be used in a generic export routine with no additional processing added to exixting reports.
Well, it was just a try :-))
Maybe there is a need for a FRX2XLS. I really cannot judge it.
Whenever the people I write programs for want to have some data to "play with", they are happy to get an Excel sheet, which they can manipulate with Microsoft Excel whenever they like to do so. Actually, whatever "they" did to the data, finally that Excel sheet could nicely be used as an asynchroneous mean for input.
So I will follow this thread to learn more about other fields of employment of a FRX2XLS.
Thanks for your answer.
Hans
