The column is computed in code. I did issue a grid refresh but that did not help. While stepping through the code, the function in the third column is being called first, before the function in the first column, which I think is causing the problem.

Another approach I'm trying is getting rid of the function in the first column and just creating a cursor and then inserting the computed values in the view for the grid. The third column will just compare the value of the view field to that of the second column. I'm still trying to get it to work.
