I somewhat agree with you here, Cy. Don't use the View. A Fox2x table is better than using the ODBC driver. However, I prefer to use the VFP OLE DB Provider and having it do the query.

If you are trying to do everything from Crystal, then you would likely have to do your own filtering after you get the data from the view. However, I have found that VFP is better at querying, so it's better to create a table for crystal from in VFP and then let crystal use that.
