I build a Word-mailmerge solution based on the examples in Chapter 6 of the book "Microsoft Office Automation with Visual Foxpro, Hentzenwerk Publishing". At this time the mailmerge routine works fine, but it is very, very slow. It is possible I have to run a mailmerge which results in 5000 letters and each letter contains 21 data fields. When I transport the data to MS Word I have to export about 105.000 fields at this time.

Is there any example of a mailmerge solution using VFP and MS Word which uses the OLEDB driver or something like that? My source is a cursor which is created at runtime.
