>Does anyone know of a way to setup the report writer in VFP 5.0 or Foxpro 2.5 but probabley VFP 5.0 so that a line in a group summary band always prints on the same physical line. I am writing a cheque writing program that totals the details of the invoices being payed as they are being printed on the advices of the cheque. The advice takes up the first 2/3 of the page. At the bottom of the advice is a line for the total amount of that particular cheque. I have totalled the amounts being payed ( dependent on the group variables ) and the summary for the group is printed. The problem is that if there are a different number of invoices from cheque to cheque, the line appears in a different physical location on the page. ( pre-printed cheque advice and cheque ). Has anyone dealt with and solved this problem I am having.

You can add dummy records up to the max count of detail lines without descriptions or amounts.
