This is the OLEDB version (fastest):

"Provider=SQLOLEDB;Data Source='computer name';Initial Catalog='database name';User ID=sa; Password='sa password';"

Hope it helps...

When I'm attempting to set the DataSource property of the connection string, what do I use for the name of the server? I've tried the word (local) that shows up in Enterprise Manager for the server name, a single dot(.), and a double dot(..) with no success.
