You can also drive MySQL and PostgreSQL with it.
You'll love Object Pascal. The strong type casting is terrific. You won't be making code that uses the same variable for an counter one time and a string another.
The compiler won't let you do forgetful stuff.
Stick with CLX and with a few compiler directives you have cross-platform apps from a single souce code.
