Are you expressing your opinion or is it an official statement from Microsoft? I´d like to see an official statement from Microsoft, that´s why I initially addressed this thread to someone there.

By the way, I really don´t see this as a feature. Would you give me some reasonable arguments that change my mind?

Yes, I´m planing to access VFP data using OLE DB. I´ve been using FoxPro since 1.02 days, I´ve attended to many DevCons, and VFP is my primary dev tool and all I want is to continue using this wonderful tool, now as part of the solution.
