>I can understand your point for a controlled beta, where feedback is only taken in from a select set of users, but I guess those of us who have a MSDN subscriptions should've been considered as well since MS has included various betas in the past... not to mention that "Software Betas" are listed on the Levels & Features website.
It takes a good amount of resources, time, effort to post a complete product beta on MSDN subscriptions, web site, etc. This would mean we would either have to delay the shipping of VFP 8.0 to a later date or cut useful features planned for VFP 8.0, neither of which we want to do.
