I’m not sure how to setup the data and need help for what is described next.
The program will create a “Bill of Materials”. First you select an Item. The item selected determines what the next options will be. What you pick determines what options are available for the next selection. And so on… Each selection determines what the next available options/selections are presented to the user.
The kicker is they would like to have the ability to edit a saved record and have any changes start the selection process over again and you can start anywhere in the process to start the editing. Then either save the edit records or “save as” to a new record. Also they would like back and forward buttons to allow reviews. So I have to go up the tree and down the tree.
I have thought about this and have come up with a complete blank.
