I went to www.crystaldecisions.com website and searched their knowledgebase and found a solution to this problem. I had to use formulas to find the start and end dates for my records and could not use Minimum and Maximum choices under Insert Summary. Once I made the formulas as the article on the knowledgebase specified, I was able to fix the problem and get the correct results. It was article ID number C2000051 in the Crystal Decisions knowledgebase on their website in case anyone else has this problem.
