We only know two parts of this:

1. The public discussions still available in the threads
2. The copy of the letter in JVPs web site.

We have no idea what conversations Michel and JVP had before the letter was sent. I assume that Michel talked to JVP before sending the letter and asked him to tone it down.. but that is just my assumption.

If, in fact, Michel suffered monetary damages due to the exchange, legal action would be appropriate.

At this point, we are discussing one guy. We do not know if SB received a similar letter.
