Well, when I double-click on the link in "My Network Places" (in XP) the WebFolder comes up without prompting. Immediately after that, I go into VFP 7 and type:
? ADIR(a_array,"\\198.66.199.171\data\*.*")
That folder should have info in it, but I seem to get only 0.

It is password protected, but if I'm able to go straight in using the Windows interface, do I need to find a way to login using VFP?

>Yes it does. You've to be logged to that share otherwise ADIR silently returns 0.

>>that doesn't appear to work...I tried, but it gives "0" as the result. I know the path is correct, but I am concerned that it is password protected and I never got a prompt to give the info. Does that make a difference?

? ADIR(laArray, "\\computer\share\*.*")
>>>* IP address

I can browse to an http://... location in "My Network Places" and then copy to my local drive when I use the explorer interface, but I haven't figured out how to get VFP to use the same functionality.
