SInce the UT has this TWIT filter, it seems from a laymans standpoint to take away the UT argument of JVP being a PITA. The UT went out of its way to provide a means to filter people out and then advertised it. Wouldn't this protect JVP's position as long as he was merely expressing an opinion?

While not very popular, JVP has some good points...Just take a look at the level of activity, support, marketing taking place in the .NET community. It is absolutly frightening to see this compared to the VFP community.

MS just put out a "MS Developer Tools Roadmap 2002-2004" white paper at http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/productinfo/roadmap.asp One would think that with this title on the MSDN website, that there should be at least a mention of VFP in some context. Well, there was not one! This is not to be of concern to the VFP community?!

Kinda like the remote control for your TV or your radio dial. I can always change the channel when some offensive country music comes on or a garth brooks video<g>.
