Hi Barry,

I looked that up in the help and the example was
Picture ({customer.FAX},"(xxx) xxx-xxxx" ) which was kind of neat.

I was very proficient at using Crystal Reports 7.0 and it is rapidly coming back to me. But I cannot figure out where to put the code for the Phone number format.
When I open up the format editor, nothing with an x+2 button next to it seems to have anything to do with text formating.

Where does the code go
