I was raised on Classical and Country and Western music. Perhaps that is why I play flamenco guitar! Well, I also play classical piano and guitar. If you travel 50 miles East or South of San Francisco you will hear nothing but Country and Western “music”. I call it the “dying cowboy”. Bring CD’s in your car if you do not like Country and Western while traveling through the California Central Valley.

Oh my hound dog died and the cow went dry;
Then my girl ran away so I hit the hay;
