>My last word on the topic is that JVP did not have a monopoly on the idea that VFP people should be growing their skills, including looking at other tools. I've only ever seen one person disagree with that.

>Nor did he have a monopoly on the idea that MS will not market VFP for growth. We've known that for years- Sigler said it.

>It is the repetition of the suggestion over and over that it is "JVP vs the Luddites" that created that false picture and caused friction. It also created an appalling impression for anybody external who happened to chance on the FUD. If VFP'ers are luddites who need to be dragged kicking and screaming into the modern world, why should *any* customer trust our judgement that VFP is an excellent option? We're just luddites.

John;

JVP’s message should have been short and to the point. However, he saw fit to respond to his own message in a very offensive manner. The message became a broken record. He forgot to follow what he stated for all to see and remember – about leaving the VFP forum. Too bad and all that. His personal and demeaning attacks on others will not be forgotten. Some people enjoy that type of activity but the majority does not.
