Since you're soooo persistant :)) in your idea of directly using the grid to do dataentry, I'll give it another shot. In addition, since you've included some good ideas on how to make it more useful (something I haven't really tried yet), I now feel I have more "ammunition" to fight this nagging problem. I'll let you know my progress as soon as I give it a GO.
