The comment about violating the agreement is VFP 8.0 beta is if someone, like the UT, were to make it available for download as you suggested as an idea. I was simply telling you that it is not legal for the UT to do that, it had nothing to do with you. Microsoft selects people and companies to be on betas, not just anyone can be on a beta, they usually have to be approved unless it is a public beta. We are not doing a public beta for VFP 8.0 for reasons I already described in that previous message. I wasn't trying to offend you, it wasn't even a reply directed at you specifically. My reply was addressing the issue of copying a Microsoft beta product or making it downloadable which is illegal and is piracy just the same as doing with a shipping complete product.
