My son-in-law developed an interest in programming a couple years ago and I sold him on going with VFP. He bought VFP 7.
I'm now having second thoughts concerning my recommendation. Of course, even if MS discontinues VFP down the road, it's still got a good 10 years of life left in it. Like I said, some of my 15 year old programs are still being used.
