No need to move to .NET if you want to consume (or even create) web services. VFP does it very well. The reason that I've started using .NET (ASP.NET in particular) is a web interface for my VFP apps. ASP.NET gives my an GUI IDE for visually creating web front ends. This just available in VFP. I could use Web Connect or Voodoo but I wouldn't have a drag-n-drop visual environment.
At this point, I can't see other need for .NET (for myself) than this. Why would I create a .NET windows app, would I could do it in VFP already.
