Here's an idea. Create one more Report Group with the same expression as your existing group. Add field to that group footer with expression REPLICATE(CHR(13), 40). In thep roperties of that field check "Stretch with overflow" and "Remove line if blank". You may have to play with number 40, wich represents the number of records on the page, to get it to work properly.
