I’m trying to decide if I want to buy Crystal reports for VS .NET or not.
The problem I’m having is that I don’t know what they call the version that comes with VS .NET and I’m not sure what I’d really be gaining by purchasing a copy verses just using what came with VS. I currently do my reports for both desktop and web apps as XML /XSL since the beta version of crystal did not work on a win98 desktop. I'm now interested in checking out Crystal.
Anyone know the added benefits of purchasing a copy of Crystal 9?
Also, there are so many versions. I read a tech sheet that said that Advanced version is needed for access to ADO.Net. That gets pretty expensive!
Thanks,
Chris
