Thank you Connie. I kinda suspected that was the cause of the problem. I think I solved the problem once I realized that was what was happening. I read something on the Crystal website knowledgebase about downloading some file and it would fix the problem in Crystal 7.0

If you need that file name I may have it in my notes here somewhere. Let me know. Although you have probably moved up to a newer version of Crystal by now and don't need it. However, this happened to me in Version 8 so I downloaded the file anyway, but I can't remember if that solved the problem or not. I probably did a workaround as you suggested looking for a null date and making it blank instead.
