Well that's two totally separate questions and answers. To create animated GIF files, you'll need a speciallized program - there are a number of freeware / shareware apps around (I believe Visual Studio also included one.) There are also dedicated "professional" programs available.

Besides what's available in the UT downloads, there is a freeware .OCX that handles "simple" ANI files (with sample code) at our user group site http://mmfudg.lansing.com/tips_etc.htm - ANIGIF.ZIP [47 KB].
