I'm trying to install Visual Sourcesafe from Visual Studio 6.0.
The installation process pops up this error message:
"ssscc.dll couldn't register on system registry"
(translated from spanish)
Then I try to manually register the library by using Regsvr32, and get the
following error:
"Loadlibrary("c:\Archivos de Programa\"Microsoft Visual
Studio\Common\VSS\Win32\ssscc.dll")
failed - Invalid access to memory address"
(translated from spanish)
I have tried to change MFC42.DLL with the version which VS6.0 installs, but
I still have the same problem.
The computer where I am trying the installation has the following software:
Microsoft Windows 2000 Profesional SP2 Spanish
Microsoft VFP 7 SP1 Spanish
Microsoft Office 2000 SR-2 Spanish
Antivirus F-Prot
Any ideas? I believe some library is failing, but I don't know how to
identify it from all of them.
I only achieve to install VS6.0 if the instalation is made on a recently
purchased computer,
after installing Windows 2000 without Service Packs, and before any other
software.
Regards
José Luis.
