It happens with C# too. It only seems to happen once you start debugging something, and then only randomly. One thing I've found that helps is to "pin" the Properties page, so that it shows all the time (or, if you don't like it showing all the time, remember to pin it before running a debug, then it should stay in place ... you can unpin it after).

Also, sometimes, if you right-click on your form and select Properties, *sometimes* that's enough to make the Properties page come back (and then again, sometimes not). Think it's a bug??? <g>
