There is sample code in the Components Gallery/Foundation Classes/Dialogs folder. Then right click on Thermometer and choose View Sample/Open. To look at the sample code to iterate through the records look at the click event for the Try It button.

You call the Update method of the Therm object, passing the percentage complete and a description.
