John;

A typical question when buying a used car, “Has this car ever been in an accident”? While asking this question you should have a large magnet in your hand and run it all over but not on the surface area of the car to prove that you are “serious”. We had jokes about “Bondo Cars”. Some guys would use the stuff for fins and other creative work.

In Florida I remember seeing entire side panels of doors rusted away on cars only 3 years old. Now that would take a bit of Bondo to fix. :)
