Is there generic report viewer code or a suggested methodology available anywhere? I would like to minimize the number of viewers in a project and standardize the way I call a report viewer. There are a lot of differences in the reports - parameters, datasets, titles, sort order determined at run-time, etc.

I'd also like to standardize the way reports get data. In some viewers I'm retrieving the data and in others I'm passing the viewer a data set or table. FWIW, I'm using vb.net on a client server app in Windows, but it's an issue for other environments also.

I'd appreciate any input from your experience.
