Well, then, we'll focus on VFP 10 (Tuxedo). ;)

The current wish list has a long list of awaited suggestions. During summer, at several occasions, that list was growing of about 8 new wishes per day. There's almost enough material in there for a new version of its own. It'll be interesting to hear more about it once Microsoft representatives will be able to tell us more.

I'll go with a release for June 2003 with a codename contest for the next version around May.

MS has been extremely tight-lipped on VFP7 sales, both in volume figures and whether MS perceives it to be selling "well" or "well enough". I'd think that if sales were fantastic, MS reps here would be ebullient/upbeat and a roadmap including Nexedo would be already public and a "done deal". I suspect VFP7 sales - and whether Nexedo gets done - is a "near thing" in MS at the moment.
