I wrote a system in FoxPro 2 for a shop franchise about 8-10 years ago, doubt if it is in use now anyway as the company went bust.

Regarding Fox in the UK in general, I would say it is in decline, as I cannot remember the last time I saw a Fox job on offer, or a Fox publication in the stores. MSUK has possibly the worst track record in the world regarding marketing Fox, i.e. I am unaware on anytime they have ever done any pro-active action regarding Fox. (And I have been a member of the UK user group longer than MS have owned the product) We have about 200 - 300 members, and I know there are number of people out there in the UK who are not memebers (shame on you!), but this compares to a peak of almost 1000 members at one time.

I think the product is now mainly used because of legacy systems, or where speed is required for analysis of mass data (in which case they probably use a Dos version against local data)

Contact foxugadmin@cix.co.uk or kevinw@kdwms.co.uk who perhaps could help you with employment contacts.
