I tried that as well. Got the same error. Then I tried this:

index on quote_no+str(density,10,4)+str(thickness,10,4) tag cost

my density and thickness fields are both numeric 10 4. This seemed to work perfectly, until I ran the build and created the .exe Now, once compiled, it doesn't find any records from the child table. What would change between running it in FoxPro and creating the .exe?
