Thank you for your candid discussion about DevCon.

I have always appreciated your contributions to the FoxPro community, and your sense of humor. Without your company and the quality books you publish I would hate to think of where Visual FoxPro would be today.

After working with dBase and FoxPro (with a few other languages) for the past 20 years there are times the “fun” goes out of it. I think there is still some enjoyment left and you have to focus on where and what that is. DevCon does not sound like the place to be. At least not for everyone.

It sounds like Advisor is a bit like the famous HMO’s – who use a minimum wage clerk reading a script to make life and death decisions. I know I had my moments with them and they reflect the “normal” state of business in the United States - that is your personal life is more important than the business you represent.

Keep up the good work. This community needs you and appreciates your efforts.
