I have an access program that is used to verify users as they sign in. There is a card reader connected to the system and the user swipes their card and the system does a lookup to verify access. The card reader is connected using a wedge reader so that the system sees the input as a keyboard entry. Now we need to expand this. The client is adding an iris scanning system. In talking to the iris people what they have suggested is to write a stored procedure that they can use to send the card number to the system for verification. Can anyone give me an outline of what I need to do.
