>Don´t get me wrong, Gary... I mentioned that because very often when I talk to foreigners
We are all foreigners some time or other.
>they always think of Brazil as a big jungle, with monkeys and elephants running through the streets, or they just remember of that dammit Carnival. :)
After I read your last post. I went down to my kitchen table to have our evening meal. Without any background supplied, I asked my family what came to mind when they thought of Brazil. My Wife said, "Rio", "Coffee", "Beautiful Beaches", "The Statue of Christ", "Sunshine", "I Want To Go". My Daughter said "Football". My young Son is, well, too young to have an opinion. Me, I think "exotic", "warm", "Great Footballers".
We are doubtless only scratching the surface of what Brazil has to offer, but rest assured that wild animals, dangerous fish and plentiful jungle came nowhere on the list.
I hope this re-assures you that all of us "foreigners" are not the same <s>.
