While this is possible, many developers here on the UT (including me) don't recommend it, for two reasons:

1) A general field takes up much more space than a JPG file. For instance, on testing, including a 50 KB JPG file in a general field made my file grow by more than 1 MB!

2) It is difficult to get the JPG file back out of the general field. VFP has no built-in way of doing this.

The recommended approach is to keep the filename in a character or memo field.
