OK, Mike, why is it deafening? MS has never commented about future versions of software beyond what's currently available and, sometimes, what will be available soon. The fact that there will be a VFP 8 is pretty obvious - all you have to do is go to the Advisor website and see what DevCon attendees will get. As to future versions - it's silly to think there'd be information or comments on that before we ship VFP 8.
