the fact you can get it to instantiate on a Windows 98 boxen running as a dcom server is amazing to me - and then when the 11th instance starts - wow - that implies the first 10 were successful.

I'm a big fan of running dcom on NT servers and W2000 servers - and I pretty much refuse to run it on anything else to do O/S considerations.

If you have an NT 4 server with sp5 or better - I would suggest you switch.

In the meantime -
perhaps there is a registry hack you can perform to get that 11th instance to run...
