My CR8.5 rpt file with simple formula of empty string, shown below
@CustomerName
""


When place on a report header, which my application will pass the string to it for display, will cause overlapping with my other text label.

In addition, if I pass the string to be display from my dbf memo file,
which contain chr(13) and chr(10), Cr will report of

The matching ' for this string is missing

however, if I change all the chr(13) and chr(10) to " ", it
will be fine.

Why, pls kindly advise and help.
