Hi!

No, there is no other way than programmatic (as you did).

>A listbox item can be disabled by preceding its text with a "\". The item appears disabled in the listbox but still the user can navigate with arrow keys and enter the disabled item. By a chesk for "\" in When and returning .f., I can prevent this from happening. But is there any other way or some property setting by which I can prevent entry on the disabled item?

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
